■China completed Tibet highway
✅This is the "second significant passageway" passing through the Grand Canyon of the Yarlung Zangbo River and connects Nyingchi city (China)to Medog county that borders Arunachal.
✅It also reduced the distance between both cities from 346 km to 180 km & travel time by eight hours.
✅Brahmaputra river has 4 alternative names:Jamuna in Bangladesh Tsangpo in Tibet, Dihang in some parts of India & Yarlung Zangbo in China
✅The River originates from Mansarovar Lake, which also acts as a source of the Indus and Sutlej
✅It flows parallel to the Himalayan range in the eastward direction.
✅When it reaches the place Namcha Barwa, it takes a U-turn around it and enters the country India in the state of Arunachal Pradesh
✅It is referred to as one of the largest rivers in India in terms of Volume.
✅Along with Ganga & Megna it forms world's largest delta known as 'Sundarbans'.
