Arctic - The northern sea route or The Polar silk road

🔴The arctic council -ahigh-level intergovernmental forum that addresses issues faced by the Arctic governments and the indigenous people of the Arctic.

🔴The eight Arctic States — Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the United States — are the only members of the Arctic Council. Besides them, six organisations representing the indigenous people of the Arctic region have been granted the status of permanent participants.

⚠️NOTE : Antarctica is a part of Global commons- i.e. nobody can claim exclusive rights over it- arctic is NOT a part of the global commons
